School Dinners Free School Lunches for any child who wishes it (Reception Class-Yr 6). The children are supervised by staff appointed to their posts by the school's Governors. We are able to accommodate children with allergies. Sandwiches can be brought to school, but 'fizzy' drink or sweets are not allowed in their packed lunch. School Uniform An official school uniform is worn at Ysgol Pen Barras: • Maroon sweatshirt or cardigan with the school logo • White polo shirt • Plain grey trousers or skirt (not a sports trousers with any patterns or white lines) • Black shoes During the summer, girls are allowed to wear pink/red gingham dresses and boys and girls can wear grey shorts. Sweat shirts/cardigans and polo shirts with the school’s logo can be bought from R&R Embroidery, Lôn Parcwr, Ruthin. Instrumental Lessons Pupils from Yr 4-6 can have instrumental lessons during school hours. They are arranged and provided by Denbighshire Music Co- operative. Clwb Ffrindiau Bach: A club between 11.15-3.15 is the Clwb Ffrindiau Bach for Nursery children. Clwb Pen Barras: This is an after school club from 3.00-5.30 for children from Reception to 6 classes
